After we exit Roman (to Iasi) the road follows on around 10 km the Valley of Siret and than it divides. To the right starts DN 28 that goes to north-east to Tg Frumos and Iasi, after passing the Siret and the second road goes to north-west and passed the Siret valet to the Moldova.

Shortly after this crossing, to the right is a local road that leads to Mircesti village (4km) settled in Siret meadow. Here we can find the house where Vasile Alecsandri lived several years and where he created most of his writings. In the park of his house is his tomb. Renewed, the house was transformed into a memorial museum in 1957, interesting and valuable through its 3400 objects that belonged to the poet: manuscripts, documents, personal library, all the editions of his creation are exhibited in the six rooms of the house, and is visited by numerous tourists from all over the country.
