ABOUT IULIAN PANESCU

Hallo !!!

My name is Iulian Panescu and I will begin by telling something about me.
I was born in the city of Victoria in 1982, at the feet of the Fagaras Mountains, where I first started to climb the mountains.
I have spent my childhood on mountain paths, guided by my father and other mountain lovers.
My profession is mountain rescuer; I am a member of the Romanian Mountain Rescue Association ( A.S.M.R ), I have worked for two years at the Victoria Mountain Rescue Service and starting with December 2006, I am a member of the Public Mountain Rescue Service of the County Sibiu (S.P.J.S ).
I have graduated from the school for mountain guides in the summer of 2005; courses organized by the Romanian Mountain Guides Association (A.G.M.R), and have thus got my authorization as tourist guide, with the specialty mountain guide.
I am now a part of the mountain guides accredited by the Romanian Mountain Guides Association (A.G.M.R).
Besides my main activity as mountain rescuer, I work as mountain guide from the winter of 2005.
Skiing is as well a good skill of mine that has determined me to start by the age of 12, in 1994, and I have participated at contests organized by the Mountain rescue in mountains like Făgăraş or Bucegi.
I spend a huge amount of my time in the heart of the Fagaras Mountains and this fact empowers me to say that the mountain is my second home.
The main services I offer are trekking, hiking, all kinds of skiing (touring, alpine ski, extreme skiing), mountaineering, mountain biking, and team building sessions.
Even if my experience as a mountain guide is not so big, my priority is the safety of the tourist.
